Winnie! Amen! to that!! Nice Fall like Day, here, no humidity!!! The sky was so blue!! I went to the Dr. with my Holly and saw our Lily on the ultra sound screen and I will never, ever forget that as long as I live! to see her little heart beating brought me to tears, many tears! We went out for lunch, meatloaf, dressing and green beans and Cornbread! We took a short stroll, just enjoying the cool breeze. My soul needed that today!

I love this thread!!! The pictures just calm me and make me want to roll in leaves and eat a caramel apple next to the bonfire!
Here is my seasonal table (an old cabinet with a piece of rough granite on top) I'm just getting into the fall theme; I need to add much more.
And there is something from one of the sweet gals here on display too. Are you blushing Sara??
(sorry the photo is lopsided, IPhone pic not so good)

Connie, O love your photo of the children's book! It sounds like your Fall day was perfect in every way with a sonogram view of your new grand baby on the way and time spent with your daughter!

Not blushing, but pleased that you were proud enough of it to show it.

The ferns that grow in the mountains have turned to their fall colors. This is from last Thursday when we went up to the high country. Bramble is almost camouflaged in them.

We had just returned to the car from a hike, she sat down there in the ferns and just looked my way. Fortunately I had my cell phone handy for a photo!

It is so feeling like Fall right now! Today was in the mid-70s and tomorrow is only suppose to be 69. We went apple picking last weekend and today we cleaned out the garden and planted some lettuces and peas. LOVING the cooler weather!!!! Oh if it would only stay!!!

It is a Cloudy, Breezy, Fall day here today. I made a pot of Veggie Soup and will make a skillet of cornbread for supper. I enjoyed a day to rest and read the Oct-Nov issue of MJF.

What a cool photo, CeeJay! Too bad the house has never been renovated because it looks like a great spot for a home!

Thank you ladies for the wonderful words of wisdom, peace and inspiration. The pictures of the moon, leaves and pumpkins gave me such pleasure. I live in the woods so am anxious to get some leaves and put together the Modge Podge luminaries. We do crafts every Sunday after a family dinner. Fall is our favorite time to do this.

Blessings

I'm so happy - the orchard opened and I have 4 gallons of apple cider in my freezer, one already gone, and another in my fridge :) I do have a cider press on my "one day" list though Winnie. There's a lot of stuff on there. A new farm is first though. Then the orchard, then the press :) I'm sad to report I didn't get any apple pie filling made. The box of apples I bought was bad. They were full of bug holes and all brown on the inside. I didn't feel like they were very safe to can and give away.

Tomorrow hubby and I are going to an apple butter festival. We've never been to it before, but my MIL say's it's worth the drive. Hopefully the rain hold off. It's supposed to be 36 tonight and 62 with showers tomorrow.

Love the pictures everyone. Right around here it's not so colorful. The leaves just look rusty. But, we went to town the other day and there are some colors starting to pop out. It's definitely been fall weather. Harvest is going slow due to little rain showers that keep popping up, but the crops are slowly disappearing.

Well, I need to finish supper and get another glass of cider :)
