The cats have ringworm AND FLEAS AND SO DOES THE DOG! My son and I have ring worm. The cats have intestinal paracites. If hubby gets ringworm the cats are history. Both hay balers are broken with hay down and rain coming. What the frig else is going to go wrong? Asking for prayer.

Eeeghads, Lorena! I feel so badly for you! Talk about a trial! You poor thing! The most important thing to remember: never, ever, EVER ask what else can go wrong. Around here we always half-jokingly remind each other, "Ask and ye shall receive!" Because whenever we ask that question, it seems we always sure as heck receive! ;) You're already going through enough! Stephanie's right - this, too, shall pass... but eghads, it sure isn't fun waiting for it to get better, is it? You're in my prayers, sister - you and your whole family. God love and bless you! Thanks for your kind words and all. I'm just at my wits end. On top of everything else (holding down a 4 day a week job and horse sitting which ended last post plus a day trip hubby wanted to take this past weekend plus a cub scout day camp
Volunteer that I committed to a month aago) my garden weeds are up to my knees. Literally. I'm overwhelmed. Btw I posted earlier aabout the cats having ringworm...I just read that teatree oil is highly toxic to cats.

I know that this will sound harsh but, good old fashioned bleach will kill ringworm instantly, just dab on with q-tips, cottonballs or what ever, on you and the animals, also just in case you did not know this, ringworm is found in the soil, so you all can get it this way...so sorry for your troubles...

Thanks for the advice. Dust the de on the animals? Does it kill the eggs too? Hay balers cannibalized into 1. Still waiting on parts for the broken baler head. Still sick.

Lorena, I'm so sorry you're hitting a rough stretch on the highway to farm bliss! People do don't live as we do have no idea how difficult it can be, am I right? Sounds like you've made some progress on the baler situation.
After Vicki mentioned diatomaceous earth, I did a little poking around in the internet and found that it seems to deal with internal parasites, too, for people and animals. Pretty interesting. This was the site I found most useful. I'm sure there are a lot of others. http://www.richsoil.com/diatomaceous-earth.jsp
