This worked in the 'testing area':) Actually I'm showing off a friend's talent. I dropped off this huge old ironstone vessel and asked her to fill it with some of her hydrangeas. This is what I picked up a couple of days later!!! She hosts weddings and other events on her beautiful property. She has around 75 hydrangea plants that she harvests from each fall. She saves some for brides arrangements and sells other wholesale by the stem. I particpate in an annual antique show she holds on her grounds each fall. Truly one of those places that you have to visit in person to 'feel' the realy beauty. This is her web site www.larkspurfarm.net

I love dried hydrangeas, and have some in almost every room of the house. It is very hard to get them dried while retaining much color. Yours are simply beautiful. And it is hard to arrange them and get the dried stems to behave, so I really like the fullness of yours and the vase. Really pretty. And the wicker is too!

OOOH, Dona! The second lovely image from you to cheer up my cloudy Louisville day! I love, love, love hydrangeas! I've planted several at my farm and I hope to plant lots more next spring. I'm going to have a calmer workday thanks to you! :)
