Ok. I'm a really proud mama again. My daughter is being honored with a special award through 4H. She is going to receive an award for Outstanding Character! She was nominated by someone in her club, and they are giving her a trophy. They are honoring her for her efforts creating "Audrey's Furry Friends" to help the pets of those hurt in the tornadoes last year in Oklahoma. She did the project on her own, not wanting to earn anything, but this is a special award and we are so very proud of her! They will present it at an awards night, and have asked her to read something special.  shes such a good, sweet girl. I'm a lucky mama.

Friday was the awards ceremony and we were just bursting with pride. Audrey got a trophy for her special award, and two other ribbons for other recognitions. The special award she got was the "Good Character Counts", for qualities of "respect, citizenship, caring, trustworthiness, fairness, and responsibility". She's a future farmgirl for sure!
