Cool We have a good start. I think bought cute ones will work too. made ones, just so long as they are new. Hopefully we will get some more people sign up. It would be cute to get some socks too if they have something from your state on them or 4 of july ones, or pretty pink sparkly ones. or etc etc!!! OOO this will be fun and won't cost anyone too much at all.

wow this will be cool. I was thinking of having the mail out like june 21 through the 28th. that way if anyone gets ones for the 4th of july they will get them in time. Would that be ok with everyone. I would like to give everyone a few more days to sign up cause I am getting a good response!! yipee. mine will probably be bought too, just because I do not have the time to make any right now , and they do have such cute ones out there. great!!!

That sounds good to me Beverley, I will be buying mine as well an will probably buy red white and blue ones. Flag Day and 4th of July are my favorite holidays. My house is already decorated in Red, White and Blue with losts of flags:-) Our Flag will be 200 years old on June 14th.

Beverly, I suggest this timeline since it sounds like several people have July 4th socks in mind. Post partners on June 16 and request a mail out no later than 6/25. Depending on the zip code between partners, it could take up to 5 days for First class mail. If they add other items that increase the weight, the same time line applies for a first class package. By mailing by 6/25, recipients should be able to get their package before the holiday and wear their socks. Does this plan sound reasonable to you? Other input for folks who are signed up? I have found that it is best to have a generous number of days for mailing if you have a deadline in mind because some rural addresses with PO boxes might take some extra time. Plus it does give the sender a day or two over the mail date to make the deadline if last minute option is needed.
This is going to be a fun swap!
