There are so many things to do with fiber!!! My latest is felting. I've made these with needle felting:

This is a crocheted scarf, measuring 8-1/2' X 9" before being felted:

I haven't felted it yet, but will post a picture when I do!

After felting:

Before felting, the scarf measured 8-1/2' x 9"
After felting it measures 5' x 5"

A Suffolk? lol it's suppose to be a llama!! Then a Jacob (with 4 horns), a Hampshire with pumpkins & that frosty fellow.

Gloria, yes I do sell them. All the animals shown have already sold & I'm working on a Nubian goat right now.

Wow Those are great. I want to make a felted purse. I saw one at a spinning get together and it was beautiful. I have been just a little intimidated to try. I will try checking out the lionbrand website.
Thanks for sharing.

WOW. Cyndi, they are GOOD! I've done a bit with felting--but not 3-D. I guess I'm intimidated! You've definitely conquered the craft.

Thanks guys. I really don't know why they come out like they do. I'm not talented when it comes to drawing and perspective, et al. For some reason the fiber seems to come alive and before I know it, there's a little creatue! I'm glad Libbie told me the alpaca/llama looked like a suffolk to her! I guess it's the perspective of who is looking at that makes it be what it is.

Here is the Nubian that I finished last night:

I've started working on a couple pygmy goats

Gloria, The form on one is almost done, the other is just the body & udder - still needs legs, neck & head.

The animals are adorable. Are the pygmys going to be for sale? We just got 2 withers last spring and I"ve fallen in love. They have quickly become my best friends.

Mary,
Gloria (berries) ordered the 2 black pygmies. Finished one of them last night. I'd be happy to make pygmies for you. PM me.

I've been so busy - almost finished with the 2nd pygmy.

Susan, I should be able to start your nubian this weekend.
