We are so sad to hear that farmgirl Brandy Ogle Ward (bducky55) is one of the people missing in the Washington state mudslide. The Oso mudslide is one of the worst disasters ever in Washington state, with
14 people now known to be dead and 176 listed as missing. Brandy's husband, Timothy Ward, is one of five people being treated for injuries from the slide at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. He's listed in serious condition, and Brandy is listed as missing. Their home, which was directly in the path of the slide, was swept away.

Brandy took great pride in being a farmgirl, as you can see from this photo that she posted in January on my Facebook page with the following message:

MJ~look what my neighbor surprised me with!!!!

Our thoughts and prayers are with Brandy and husband Timothy and family.

Oh no...I cannot even think of any thing to say really...My thoughts are prayers and love to them. I need to go and cry. This is so awful.

I have family that lives about 45 miles from there and all that we can do is hope and pray.

Living in Washington State myself...we are so worried about those still missing. I don't believe that at this point anyone
else will be found alive.

I am so sorry to hear one of our Farmgirls is missing and her husband in the Hospital being treated.
His heart is going to need more than the Dr.'s can mend and heal.

They are still getting heavy rain in that area...so, even the rescue is a dangerous process. Keep them ALL in your hearts
and prayers.

Love and Continued Prayers,
Peggy

I met with Brandy a few years ago to take over my Chapter-Country Charm. Super nice. I have been up to darrington inquiring about her where abouts. Nobody would tell me because I wasn't family. We are family---Farmgirl Family. The police did let me walk into the area. So tragic.

It's now even more devastating to find that a Farm Girl is one of the missing. My dearest friend's family is amongst the missing. I've asked for quilts from my Sisterhood. I"ll gladly drive them up to Oso and make sure they get to the families that not only lost loved ones but their own homes. I will pray that Brandi is in a happy place now.
