Good morning Ladies. How is everyone doing with their blocks? Melinda your block is on its way to you. Carol, would you please re-send your address, somehow your email is missing from my inbox. I have a block ready to send to you. As soon as I have Carol's address I will forward it to the group and they/you can copy and paste it to your Quilter's List.
I realized this morning that I should also be keeping track of who I send blocks to, and who I receive a block from, so I am marking the names on the list with a *
if I sent a block, and another * for one received. I suppose I can use a different color for each star so I don't get confused (have enough confusion already) ;)

Afternoon Ladies,
I have received two blocks. One from Kathleen and the other from Debra. I have sent to Kathleen, Susan, Debra and Melinda so far.
I can't wait for the others to come in so I can start my project.

Good morning ladies. Thank goodness it is too cold and wet to work in the garden, it is giving me time to do my make ahead blocks for the quilt.
Becky your block came in this morning's mail, I love the bright summery print!
I have sent out blocks to everyone on our list and have received one from Becky and Debra.
Come on farmgirls, our group is up to eight quilters now, we need at least 32 more of you to join us. It is such fun to get that envelope in the mail knowing there is something special inside.
All it takes is a few scraps of fabric: 2 print rectangles 2 1/2" x 6" and 1 of muslin; and 2
5 1/2" squares (1 print, 1 muslin) cut in half on the diagonal. The information .pdf has clear instructions for assembling the block. And there is a really simple way to make lots of blocks at one time using long strips of fabric.
If you want to try but feel you need help, we are all here for you, just ask.

So sorry to hear about that. I didn't join because I knew I wouldn't have time to make the blocks. I may join in the summer after my garden is in and needs minimal tending and I have gotten other handmade items finished and delivered. I do want to participate. I'm just holding back until I know I have time to deliver on my promises. Perhaps some of the other ladies have their own unexpected time crunches.

Thank you for responding. There is still plenty of time to send out blocks, we did not set a deadline because we are all busy with so many things. The only deadline we set is for sign-ups. Since so many have visited this forum and I have received emails from several who would like to participate, but like you they just don't have the time in this busy season. The sign-up date is so everyone can enroll, and then plan it in their schedules as time permits. Does this make sense? :)
