I got blocks from Denise and Shannon! Sorry I haven't been on. My allergies have really gotten me this year. I have one more to send out to Alicia. I'm also working on blocks to put with these to make the quilt bigger. I'm using blue jean and quilted flowers that were a part of my great-grandmother's quilt but it started falling apart so I cut the flowers out. I'll post a picture soon.

I have received blocks from Rebecca and Shannon but I can't download the pictures. I have sorted my fabric and will start the blocks on Saturday.

If you all wouldn't mind just saying a prayer for me. My blocks are coming I promise. I can't tell you how special this project is to me. Well I just wanted to check in and ask for a bit of prayer. Hay ya'll, I have a stack of lovely blocks. I have received them from: Kathleen Bobbitt, Nancy Boyd, RoDonna Carson, Carol Johnson, Debra Swan, Lei Brown, Denise Christiansen, Holly Perdue, and Shannon Hudson. They are beautiful all layed out and waiting to be joined. I am working on mine and will mailing them soon. Susan...you are not the last one! This is a fun project!! I hope to have them mailed out in the next week, I HOPE...

Hay ya'll.
Just checking in to let you know I am still here. And the fabric is on the sewing table ... my hope is to get them all sewn and mailed this weekend. I don't have too many boarders and the kids will be gone so I can finally (I hope) get a few things accomplished.

Today seems to be my day to get ducks in a row--or quilt blocks gathered and accounted for. Dear, dear, Alicia, I just realized I never sent you a block. I've e-mailed Kathleen for your address as I mis-filed the original. I hope to have your block in the mail as soon as I hear back from her or you.
Here is my block count. I have received blocks from Kathleen, Debra, Becky, Lei, RoDonna, Denise, Nancy, Shannon, and Holly. I have not received from Susan, Melinda, Shelly, Margo, Marie, Alicia, or Daizy. Am I missing anything I should have received? My zip code was omitted from the original roster and that may have caused some issues with the PO.

Hi All! It is so great to see all the activity and enthusiasm here! I never expected such wonderful results when I first posted the project. Thank you all for participating and for making our quilt project so successful.
Marie, I received your beautiful block. It is so generous of you to share portions of your grandmother's quilt with us. I am going to add a special block to my quilt detailing the "unseen" contributions of friendship and sharing that are embodied in it. Thank you very much.
I will post a photo as soon as I can, I have been somewhat "under the weather" for the past two weeks and am just now getting back into things. Lot's of catching up to do everywhere.

Marie, I received your "groovy" block today. I love the hot pink and peace signs. Thank you for letting me know the history of the fabrics. Your embroidery stitches are a very special touch. I know your finished quilt will be beautiful!
