My only living uncle who is in his 80's was in a traffic accident today...he was air lifted to Lexington KY with possible stomach and head injuries...his children are with him...we have no further details...he is a born again Christian and served the Lord for most of his life...please pray for healing in his entire body...and that the peace of God will surround all of his family as they wait for more information on his condition...
UPDATE...
Unfortunately...my Uncle passed away Saturday...please pray especially for his children and grandchildren...

Prayers are on your way for your uncle's comfort and healing and for peace for his family as they wait to find out what is happening. If he has been air-lifted you know that he is going where there is the best possible care! And with God on his side no one can expect more!

Oh Judy! Praising God that your uncle is praising the Lord face to face, with no pains and worshipping our Savior. At the same time, praying for his children, grandchildren, and the rest of the family! How are YOU holding up?

Shannon...thanks for your prayers...I am doing OK...it's really sad...when I was young I had 8 aunts and 8 uncles as my father was one of 9 children in his family...this is the last one of my family except cousins...the accident he was in was less than 5 minutes from his home...he had been out to get some breakfast and was on his way back home...just so tragic and unexpected...

Judy so sorry to hear of your uncle passing away. I pray for comfort and peace for his family. Your uncle already has his peace and comfort. I am a Christian so I believe he has a smile on his face.

Thanks to all of you for your kind and encouraging words and for all your thoughts and prayers...it just happened so suddenly...but that is why we need to be ready to meet the Lord as we never know when our time will be up here on earth...I know my uncle is so happy and rejoicing with so many loved ones who already went home to be with the Lord:)

Thanks girls...it has been a very difficult week...but my uncle is in Heaven rejoicing with those who have gone on before...there could be no greater blessing than to know that a loved one has stepped from this life into Heaven with our wonderful Lord and Savior...
