It's time to sign up for April Mail Art :)
If this is your first time signing up for Mail Art, please visit the topic Farmgirl Mail Art under the Farmgirl Swap heading to read our guidelines. Then leave a comment on this post if you want to participate and I will contact you.
If you signed up for March Mail Art and wish to continue on with April, DO NOTHING. Just relax and start creating, I've got ya covered, although I will send you a little note to confirm.
If you signed up for March Mail Art and DO NOT WISH TO CONTINUE on with April, please send me an email.
Themes for April will be Spring and/or Yellow and/or Open. (Open just means you create anything you wish, not following the themes).
I will post partners on Monday April 7. Please send your Mail Art before April 30.
If you have any questions or concerns, please send me an email. I'm always delighted to help.
Happy Swapping

Yes Diana, we do get new partners each month, although occasionally as time goes on you may get a partner you've had in the past.
Looks like our art is starting to make its way through the mail :)

Thank you Janice/ozarkjammer for the lovely package of goodies that arrived in my mailbox yesterday. I think I'm the first to receive my Mail Art this month; yay Janice :) I especially love the Japanese knotted paper cord and will certainly be including it in my art journal in some manner!

I am so glad you like it! That knot is not easy, but it sure is fun to know it will go to an appreciative home in this group. Happy, happy, joy, joy! |

I saw that the March thread is officially closed, so I'm posting my thanks to Jennifer for my March art just in case.
I just received my March Mail Art today (April 16) from Canada! Thank you so much, Jennifer! Your card is lovely with the little bird and spring sentiment. What a stroke of brilliance to include the graph for the little bird and the picture of the woodcut initial. I'll color it in and think of you. Because I teach English literature, the postcard is perfect for me as well. Thank you for all!
P.S. I'll copy and post this on the April thread just in case.
Blessings,
Carol Farmgirl 1823

I never got an email either about my mail art partner... I was worried about getting it out on time, because we were in the process of moving and had forgotten about it.... I wanted to let my partner know I would be late. But I never got an email :/

Farmgirls, I have been having lots of trouble with my email the past week, but I went to Headquarters yesterday and got that all squared away :) My apologies.
I emailed swap partners for April to everyone on April 6. If you didn't hear from me, please check your spam folder to make sure I'm getting through, then email me kristine@maryjanesfarm.org and I will resend. You can also send a message to me through this forum.
Thanks! We'll all learn the ropes soon and have a little less "bumpy" ride.

Just want to shout out and graciously thank Suzanne Holland for my beautiful April Art. I received the most beautiful decorated egg in a lovely Easter basket. The perfumed sachet that was included is now in my bathroom. Thanks again Suzanne. Very nice of you. Mary Jo Hopefully the photo will load here.

Mary Duffel, thank you for the beautiful (all caps if they were allowed) print of the bird. I took pictures to post, but can't figure out how to get them from the camera to the computer. Anyway, the bird reminds me of the painted buntings we have here in Georgia. Your card was lovely, and I appreciate the sweet note. Isn't it fun to learn a little about our fellow sisters. Happy trails and
Blessings,

Debbie Main: I'm so glad that you liked your March mail art! Thank you very much for the lovely card with chickies on it. The really funny and wonderful thing about that is that I just this month started my own flock if laying hens. I have 4 chicks of different breeds! Your card is wonderful and just right, thanks again. Farmgirl hugs from Oregon, Diana Gibson

Hi Diana Glad your mail art arrived! Have fun with your chickies!
Carol, during a christmas swap here the box sat in Tacoma for over a week, when it finally arrived at its destination, someone else's stuff was in it! That was my first bad mailing. I learned to keep the receipts even though they were vintage and could not be exchanged from a different state, I might've been able to get my money back. Lesson learned!
Debbie
