I picked some carrots for dinner tonight and I had a really strange shaped one. I posted pictures on my blog. After I cleaned it off and put it on the counter I burst out laughing. Tell me what you all think. LOL

I can't stop laughing. But, it took me minute to "get it!" Just a little slow this AM.

Well...wow! Reminds me of a tomato I picked this summer with and extra "growth"; my 13 year old daughter informed me it was a BOY tomato! lol

I couldn't help myself I thought that was so funny. I even showed my Mother in law who is in her 70's and she laughed hard.

Patsy is doing fine. She is still at the other farm. She should be coming home either this weekend or next. She is due July 1st. I can't wait again. I am praying everything goes well this time. I miss having her here. Every time I would go into the garden she would moo at me for something to eat. I always shared some veggies with her. I am sure I will be taking lots of pics as the time gets closer.

Thanks for the great laugh. Don't think I've ever seen a carrot so....well endowed.

I'm still cracking up over this one - I looked at it yesterday and it about killed me.

We had something similar to this happen a few years ago. I pulled a carrot out and no kidding, it had two legs and a you know what in the middle! I just about died right there!! Hubby took it to work the next day and had a gal scan it into the computer. Lord only knows how many times it circulated around in cyberspace!

I think these growths are caused by something lacking in the soil or the presence of a nematode. Can't remember....

How funny!!
