What a wonderful interview. I think they did a good job in capturing MaryJane's ideas.

Thanks for the link.

I do not have a listening device for my computer since I took it all apart a few months ago to move it. Is there another way that I can see/hear the whole thing? I am finally reading my Aprons magazine. I kept putting it off because I know it will be a while before there is a new issue. I have her big book too, but refuse to read it until I have a lot of time. Also, there should be another book soon, right?

Aunt Jenny!! Imagine if we all just put the magazines in the spotlighted sections of all bookstores!! I go to Borders every week (I'm an English teacher), so maybe I should go to one that is not local so I can move them all to the right place in every store on Long Island! Have a good week!! Sheryl,
Should be another book out in the spring. Now start reading the one you have, life is short, don't put off the good things. Besides you can go back to the book over and over again, its not a one time read. I know I'am really looking forward to the new book, as lots of us are, getting myself a nice collection of MJ FARMGIRL STUFF.

Hi Nancy:

You are right about just reading it. I will read the magazines againa and again and I know the book will keep me busy for many nights over. I read THE APRON BOOK last week and know that I will keep going to it again. It's just so rare to find books and magazines that are relaxing and inspirational...I want them to last and last. Corny? That's ok! I will read the book this weekend when I have five long days off. Enjoy the holiday!!

Good advice, Nancy Jo! It took me a while to "get" that we shouldn't save the "good" things for later -- even down to drinking out of one of my nice glasses *just because I want to,* not because it's a special meal or day... It really does make a difference in the quality of life we can lead - to just go ahead and live each moment to the fullest, which may mean anything from putting marshmallows in your hot chocolate (yum!) to reading the book right now!

XOXO, Libbie

I can't get the video to play . . . when I click to play the video a black box with an x in the top left corner comes up. Rats! I feel so jipped!!

Darn, Brenda! I just tried it out again to see if it worked, and it worked for me. Did you try a couple of times?

Actually what is strange...this is how I found out about MJF and the Farmgirl Connection, tho I did not get a chance to watch the episode itself. On our PBS HD channel, they were showing the America's Heartland show.....I went online to see what other shows were in the series and saw this little blurb....that is how I got the info and came over here...and the rest they say was history :-)
