How is everyone getting motivated in this time of year to stay moving? Having a hard time. Ready for spring.

I am in the same boat, I have the don't... so I have a mental list of what I need to get done. I have animals to feed and water so that gets me out moving. Sunshine does wonders.

I have many things I have to do and many things I want to do. I tend to do the things I want to do first such as crocheting the blanket for the expectant mom. I do the thing I have to do later or under duress such as mending my DH's pants, doing dishes, making that wedding gift for the wedding this past August.

My computer, and by extension Mary Jane's, is the biggest eater of my time. I need better priorities.

I too have the winter-I-don't-feel-like doing anything.... But to get back into the things I love I started out small, like a bought a min, unpainted, toy solider at an after Christmas sale and just started paint it and with in about 3 days I finished it.

I think the cold and snow and lack of sunlight just suck all my energy this time of the year. I'm hoping it will get better soon, but with below zero temps forecasted for the next week. Need to find something to motivate me.....

For some reason right before this cold spell, I have been so energetic getting things done in my house. Maybe it's because I want to be able to just snuggle under a blaket, read, maybe knit, be lazy and watch tv while it is cold in front of that nice, warm, cozy fireplace. {grin}

Betty,
I could get motivated for knitting or sewing, preferably by a sunny window......
