Spoiler alert to anyone who didn't watch last night's new episode.

How did you like last night's episode? I was really disappointed with the whole thing. I especially disliked the attack on Anna. I felt they were over the top soap opera with this episode. What do you think?

Quite a bit of soap opera. How many chances does Thomas get? He's evil!

My girls, 21 & 32, and myself were very disappointed. Why did they have to put that in? Sad....

It upset me no end. Just like the last episode of last season. I wish it had not happened. I want to see some more happiness and good things!

I agree, I was very upset and had trouble sleeping Sunday night. There was no reason to put such a ugly scene in this episode, or the entire show for that matter. I could be wrong, but I have a bad feeling Anna will be announcing she's pregnant soon & then worry about who the father was.

I was very disappointed that they have gone this route and especially with Anna. I hope they don't continue on with it.

Well I read someplace that Matthew wanted off the show, so they had to write it in, they weren't going to but he wanted to do other things. So, that part was not the writers. Now the anna part, I am sure that kinda thing happened back then too. I was sad to see it happen to anna, but I think someone else would not have brought about such feeling from all of us. I agree it will probably have her trying to figure out if the baby is her husbands, but I was already thinking she was cause she was drinking stuff to calm her tummy when he grabbed her. So, it is her hubbies. I want to see them so happy!!!

I thought Anna was possibly expecting before the attack too. I know this was sadly a common occurrence back then, but still disliked how they put it into the show. This years episodes 2 and 3 seem like they are floundering for ideas. I hope it gets back to the superb story lines they had going in the past soon.

now they are going to have her hubby do something that will be wrong. I hope not cause I hate to see him go back to jail and they aren't together. They should be left a lone for once.!!! It would be nice to see them have a baby and be happy!!!

Ooh, I found a link to watch Downton Abbey: www.simplyjune.org. I have to be careful how much I saw about DA now because I've watched it through the end of Season 4 and I don't want to ruin it for anyone!

Love it though!

Yeah, I'm not sure how they allow those shows to be posted. Right now, I'm working my way through Call the Midwife and Sherlock. Good shows!

Now you've got my curiosity up. I've decided not to peak at the link, but stick with the PBS programming. I am glad to hear I won't be upset for a week when this season ends!

I love "Sherlock" and "Call the Midwife" too. Actually, except for "The Big Bang Theory", I only watch PBS shows.

WE have a TV but only a black screen. Have to watch DVD's. I found Downton Abbey at the library an dloved it so much I bought the first three seasons. Just bought the 4th and slowly going through it.

On Youtube is a series called Manor House. A reality show where a group of people live the Edwardian era in Manor House. It is really good and explains why people behaved the way they do on Downton.
