Hi everyone,
I was wondering how many people would be interested in swapping these. Everyone makes one and swaps it with a partner. If you haven't heard about them just google Tilda dolls and I am sure they will show up. Well let me know if you are interested and then I will figure out dates and rules...edited-- Well the people I have heard from maybe later so I hope this will work. I am going to give till the end of January to sign up and then till the end of February to mail out your doll! If you think we should have any other rules let me know. I think as long as it is a Tilda it will be cute. they do have free patterns out there if anyone needs one I will look them up and put them on here.. Happy doll making!!!
So far I have these people that said they want in. pennie,brenda, darlene, and myself. we now have Connie too!! and deborah signed up also, so now we have an even number.... the more the merrier!! If I left anyone out please let me know. There is still time to sign up too...

Those dolls are stinkin cute!!! I will have to check back in with you. I have several swaps going on now, so I will check back when you post your dates. They are soooo cute!!!

thats really cool Pennie...I think I will set the date for signing up the 31st of January and then give us a month to make them. So, the mail out will be the end of February. How's that everyone. If I do not get any sign ups then just pennie and I will swap ones. I like these dolls and would like to have one that someone else made to go with one I make. So, I am excited.

These look really cute!! Where would the best place be to get a pattern to get started. I have made lots of rag dolls through the years, but not a Tilda doll. I think I would love to sign up for this Swap.

Also you can borrow tilda books from the library. that is where I got mine from. or if you would like I could send you a snail mail pattern. If so just send a message...

I will try the library. Haven't been in a while and it's time I went to see what they have. Hope others sign up for these adorable dolls since I make an uneven number. I would be willing to make more than one if necessary.

Hello, I enlarged the pattern you sent on this Thread by 200% and it seems to look like the correct size. Think I will give it a try. Thanks for the information you posted Beverley.

Ok, using all these too tools! LOL! Me,the Novice did it! Thank you Pennie and Beverly for the suggestions!! I am so loving this doll. The pictures on the websites have captivated me! The eraser worked the Best, you just get a grip on one side of the material, and it turned right side an inch at a time.
