Ok some of you may not know our Grace Gerber but she has lost her farm & is having to find homes for her animals, some of you know she makes her living collecting, carding, dyeing the fibers & has an Etsy shop that is soon closing as well. Please of you can go to her website larkspur funny farm as the fiber community is having a huge auction of fibers, crafts & some of my jewelry to help her...I know its a lot to ask as many of you are like me right now with no money to spare but she is one of us & truly needs our help. the auction ends jan 3rd at 11:45 p.m......thank you hens

I just received yarn I ordered from Grace's Etsy stop. It is gorgeous and I cannot wait to use it. I paid full price because I thought it was the correct thing for me to do to help out.

I just read (updated myself)... I saw a post and commented... and now I understand what is going on in Grace's world...
Oh my, I am sooo very sorry to hear the sad news... it's bad enough to loose your home,,, but to have to give up your beloved critters,, heart breaking.

Hello Ladies
I just found out of the kind post explaining at part the hard times that I am currently working through. Yes, the farm is sold and I a thankful that I at least got a tiny sum of coin and was not like many who where underwater in the mortgage.
I am still trying to find homes for my sweet souls - they are such loves and deserve to live. I can not afford to pay all the fees that the USDA requires to have them leave the state and I am not sure if they would make it with all that poison (what the government requires by large medical corps) that they have never had in their veins and are the healthest because of the lack of all those chemicals. However, I understand that because I live a different way this makes it a challenge to get them homes. I keep saying to the universe that I know there is a higher plan because it was by accident I found this place after my husbands passing 17 years ago. I knew nothing about this way of life but learned and created magic.
I HAVE NOT CLOSED my Etsy and I will still be creating in some form or fashion but after this is all done I will be resting, regrouping and deciding what I wish to be doing next. So while the Esty shop www.larkspurfunnyfarm.etsy.com has very little in it give me a month or two and I will have wonderful new creations to tempt you with - Fiber still will be within my hands.
Again, I thank you all for your kindness over the years and once I have rested and started a new I will be back posting, creating and tempting - I promise.

First off thank you for donating two amazing pieces of your hand crafted jewelry - that was so fantastic and I love that this might have you thinking of doing jewelry again. Second - as I pack up I am watching a movie on your sweet portable DVD player you sent me last year and I think of you everytime I turn it on. It is coming with me and will keep me company on the new journey. I am also sending my sweet music box along with me so I can wiggle when my mood is blue.
