Connie...happy that the Surgery went well. I can well imagine that it was hard on those who were waiting too.

We will continue to keep her in our prayers as she goes through the chemo and radiation. My mom is a two time
breast cancer survivor...and I know she gives high praise to God and her Oncology Team.

Keeping you all wrapped up in prayers and God's Love,
Peggy

So thankful to hear it went well. Please send Melissa a hug from me.

I would like to think that I will die a heroic death, but it's more likely I'll trip over my cat and choke on a spoonful of frosting.

Melissa went to the plastic surgeon today and they took out 2 drains, she has 6! She is in a lot of pain and she says the pain makes it feels like it is hard to breathe. WE are so Thankful for your prayers! I will be driving her Tuesday to her other Dr's App. I am taking her Mac and cheese and Pineapple-Fluff Cake, that is what she requested.( her dad requested the cake.LOL)

Hugs!

Please send her a hug from me.
I know she's strong and has a wonderful family.
That pineapple-fluff cake sounds interesting!

Then you will call, and the Lord will answer; you will cry for help, and He will say: Here Am I.

Jenny I sent you an email about that cake. Thank you Darlene and every one for continued prayers!!!! It Seems worst is just beginning and then Chemo starts in about 2 weeks. We are going to see her today and let her parents do some things they need to get done. I have Mail for her, that was sent to me from Farm Girls so that will cheer her up. Plus my hubby and her dad together, makes her laugh. Both of them are getting hard of hearing and they are too funny together! They both have a great sense of humor! Thank the Lord!!

Hugs!

I am so thankful that we are one big farm girl family...even though we have distance between us...God is everywhere and hears our prayers no matter where we are...Melissa is so blessed to have family like Connie...and even though we think what we do is only something small...as the old saying goes..."it's the little things that count"...love all of you...

Hugs!

Just got back from taking Melissa to two Dr.s. She will have to have a more aggressive Chemo because of the 27 Nodes they removed, 13 have Cancer cells. The plastic Surgeon removed 2 more drains and added more saline to both sides. She was really tired and worn out by the time I got her back home, and settled on the couch with some Mac & Cheese and her blanket and General Hospital on the TV and her Cat, Bear all snuggled with her. This is bear wearing his pink coat for his Mama! It is cold and Windy here today! Thanks for your continued prayers!

Hugs!

I am so sorry to hear that Melissa's positive lymph node biopsy was so extensive. I will be keeping her in my prayers as she moves forward in her treatment the upcoming months. Hopefully by the end of summer, the chemo will be over and she will have more good days than not so good days.
