She will be having an MRI this afternoon at 4:30 this afternoon! Please pray, they are looking to see if the cancer has spread to any other body organs.

MELISSA JUST GOT BACK HER MRI RESULTS! THE CANCER IS CONTAINED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hallelujah, Hallelujah!!! Thank you JESUS!! Thank you Farm Sisters for your Prayers!!! There is some shouting going on down here in Tennessee!!! The tumor is the size of a lime. Surgery is schedule for January 13,2014. They thought they would have to wait until Monday for results, but the Dr. just called!!! Oh I can't thank you enough for joining our family in prayer!!!!!!!!! BIG HUG!!

Still serious, but now she can rest with more peace. Certainly a blessing. Cancer is bad, but certainly not as serious as two or three decades ago.

Please Pray for Melissa Monday, Dec 30th , she has to have a Pet Scat and a echocardiogram, to see what kind of chemo she can tolerate. her family had Christmas dinner with ours and they are all so tired, my aunt Judy and Uncle James, have dark circles under their eyes. Any of us that are parents know the pain they are in for their child.
All 3 of them said to say a big THANK YOU!! to Farm Girls for their cards and Prayers! Melissa eyes just lit up as she told me of cards she received in the mail from Farm Girls! They read each and every Christmas card hanging around my dinning room doorways from Farm Girls ,and my Aunt Judy said ,what amazing women! I showed off some of my Farm Girl art and treasures and they said, is there anything these girls can't do? and I said, no they pretty much do it all!!!

So happy Melissa and her parents spent Christmas with you and your family...it was so sweet to read that you have an Aunt Judy and Uncle James...that is my DH name also...I know this is so heart wrenching to all of your family...but we must believe that God will take care of Melissa and her parents through all of this...and that He does hear our prayers for her...He is such a wonderful God...

Our God is an AWESOME God- He hears our prayers, each and every one!! I am praying for strength and peace as she continues her test and when she starts her therapy. We will all support her and the family thru all of this!! Sending all my love!

I just heard form Melissa's MOM, the 3 hour Pet scan is finished, she will know the results Thursday, when she sees her Dr. Thank you for all the prayers, I copied all of the comments from here and sent them to her mom and she said, what a Joy and a Comfort to know Farm Girls praying for her Melissa all over the USA and she said, to say" God Bless you all and Thank you!!

She is posting a Thank to Farm Girls on here and also, sending one thru email for me to post here. I just spoke with her and she got cards in the mailbox yesterday and sharing them with her mom and dad and Friends. It really has helped her spirits!! I thank you sooooooo much!!!!!!!!! BIG HUGS!! I will be going to see her this weekend to take mail and a package, that came to my house, a warm pink hat, knitted by Winnie and a scarf from Tasha's wool and what not, one of Winnie's Etsy friends and a pocket mirror from Kelly,-Wall Tent Button Co. on Etsy. You may have seen the picture of Winnie and Kelly, on MJ blog, they ate lunch with Mary Jane last year and went to her store. They both have the most beautiful things in their Etsy stores. Happy New year.
