I was looking for a wintery kind of look with this one and so I went with silver, white and a touch of sparkling fairy dust (fine glitter) for this one. It looks festive enough for Christmas, but I think that it can be left out all winter as well. If anyone is interested in winning it, just leave your name below I will have a drawing for it on Saturday and will get the door out to the winner on Monday morning.

Also, I just knocked myself over the head and beat some bravery into it  by opening my very first Etsy shop. I'm nervous and excited and feeling just about every other emotion that you can possiblly think of right now. If anyone has the time, could you please take a sec and take a peek at my shop. Marcy, everything on your blog is adorable. Will you be adding a November Birthstone Fairy soon? My niece had her first baby (making me a great aunt for the first time!), a girl, and I would love to get one for her room.
The fairy door is adorable, please put me in the running too.

I'll sign up for the drawing. Remember to check competitors' prices and do not price yourself way higher or way lower than they do. Compete on quality and design. I think this shop will do well.

Oh, my, gosh!!Happy dance all over the place!!!Thank you, Marcy!! I love your work!! And, I think this is my favorite door so far!! You are very generous!! Sent you an e-mail.
I've been thinking about your shop..since I now have 3 new grandbabies so far this year ...with one more due around Christmas...Have you seen those Lefton (I think) and Precious Moments birthday figures for each year? Up to 18, I think. I did buy one each year for my first grand daughter. Anyway, Maybe you could do something like that (they would have to be special order of course). And they would each be different because of your art. Just a thought.

Marcy's little snowman fairy door arrived in yesterday's mail! Yipee! The door is even sweeter in person! She also included two of her bottle cap snowman magnets! They are just adorable too! Marcy, I hope you start signing your work. You know you are an artist! ( I have my kids and gkids sign everything they make). Thank you, Marcy, so much for you generosity and fun!!!
