Hay ya'll,

I am going to be raising All-Natural Turkeys next year. I want to order 50 (20 go to a neighbor who wants them smoked to give to his customers as gifts). Does anyone have any advise as to which breed to order. Any input would be appreciated. I have raised chickens and quail before but not turkeys.

Hugs and prayers, ]

Daizy--if you go to www.feastSTL.com it will take you to a food magazine that has a wonderful article on raising turkeys. You have to sign up to read it, but the article is about a young Missouri farmer who raises (the old-fashioned way) turkeys and chickens. He even uses antique equipment that he modifies cause it's cheaper than buying new.
