Girls please pray for my brother in law Lewis...today his sweet wife of 57 years was laid to rest on a beautiful Fall day here in Kentucky...he will be spending his first Thanksgiving and Christmas without her this year...I cannot imagine the pain and loneliness he must be feeling...please pray that God will cradle my brother in law and his children in His arms of love through this trying time...

Judy,
I am keeping this dear family in my prayers. Last year was our first holidays without my dad. I understand the pain and loneliness you all will be feeling. I too pray that our dear Lord will hold him close and help carry him through this...it will not be easy. Sending prayers and love to your family!!

I'm so sorry your family is going through this.
The holidays are still tough on me after 23 years without my parents.
I will pray that they are held tightly in God's arms.

Thanks girls for all of your kind words thoughts and prayers...I was only 22 when I lost my mom...she passed in January 1983...thankfully we had gotten through the holidays with many good memories...actually she had been in the hospital and got to come home on Thanksgiving Day then the Lord gave us until mid January with her...the Holidays are never the same without family...but God gives us grace and strength to keep going...His mercy endures forever...
