Does anyone sell honey in mason jars at farmer's markets, etc? If so, do I need to sterilize new mason jars before filling with honey? (I would of course sterilize used jars and use new lids).
I am new to beekeeping and our bees produced a bumper crop of honey this year. I am considering a small honey business with possibly beeswax candles and honey soap.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

Honey may have antibacterial qualities, but that's no reason not to be meticulously clean in putting it up. You always need to sterilize mason jars before adding food to them, especially if you are selling to the public.

There are so many ways to use your bee's wax. Lip balm, lotions, creams to name a few. Good luck
love my bees.
