I read on Winter's Facebook page that today marks the second anniversary of the movie's release. It's one of my favorite family movies, and we recently got to meet Winter in Florida! If you'd like to take a peek at my special day, please see this past week's blog here:

UPDATE: So sad to read on the CMA website that sweet little dolphin Panama died from unknown causes. They are not sure why but will be doing a dolphin autopsy. She was the middle age dolphin who "adopted" Winter and Hope. She was so cute and all three were so happy together three weeks ago when we were there. My dd is so upset and crying. Sad news.

I read that there is dolphin virus or something that is going around. So sad. I love dolphins. My favorite stuffed animal when I was four was a musical Flipper doll. I carried it with me everywhere until it was threadbare. I hope the scientists find out what's killing the dolphins. We could learn a lot from their ways.

I looked that up...sad! Hope that isn't what got Panama (and could spread to Winter). Their post yesterday says it may just be she got old. What a neat creature she was!
