FINALLY I mailed the book to Susan yesterday! Post office expects her to receive it on Monday next week-sent it media mail so it's taking a teensy bit longer!
really enjoyable book!

I got the book today! Thanks, Margo. Even quicker than I expected it. I read a lot of Scholastic books as a kid. This almost looks familiar! And it was written more than enough years ago. I'm looking forward to seeing if it is familiar as I read.
I grew up less than 20 miles from Walnut Grove,MN, the home of Little House on the Prairie, and 70 miles from Mankato,MN, the home of the Author of the Betsy Tacy books and have felt a kinship to that time since I was little.

Hello Farm Sisters, Would those of you that were to busy to read this book when your name came up let me know if you have time to read this book now? Some of you were to busy to read it at the time your name came up. I'm trying to get my list back on track.
If I have my records correct, I think Cindy Lou (Susan) has this book right now. It should go to Becky next. Then I have Connie, Daizy, and Amber on my list. Each of you wanted to be put on hold for a while.
Please let me know if I have this correct.

The book arrived today. So far the few pages that I have read it is going to be very good. I am in summer school for the next 5 weeks and will be reading only at night. I will let you know when I am done. Should be within the 3 weeks all the same.

Hi Ladies, My mom has been in the hospital for the last 3 days and I haven't been on the computer. will try and get together a list of all that are signed up and post it so each of you can contact the next one on the list and get each other's addresses. Will try to keep up as I can.
Looks like she will have to have dr's appointments everyday for a few weeks. So glad I have a sister and 2 brothers willing to help out taking her. Most of the time it's just me and my sister. Will keep you posted.

Mom is better, but still has appointments everyday for a while yet. Will keep checking here as much as I can.
