Hi Margo, When you finish the book it goes on to Denise. If you need her address, you can email her directly or go through me. I have everyone's addresses. Just post here so we can all keep track of the book. I know the next in line will be waiting. It's fun to keep track isn't it. At least I think so.

Hay ya'll, I just emailed Mz Margo for her address. I really enjoyed the book. Thanks so much for allowing me to read it. It took me longer than I expected due to Thanksgiving and all the things leading up to Thanksgiving. It will be in the mail as soon as I receive the next address. Ya'll will love this book. Daizy, That's great!!! So glad you liked the book. I loved it so much I went and bought another copy for myself. Glad The Book Cottage is so close. Just 3 miles away and I have to go by it every time I go to town. Maybe that's not a good thing. lol
I'm thinking of putting another book out there. It's entitled Orlean Puckett The Life of a Mountain Midwife 1844 - 1939. It was written by a Mary Jane Farm Girl Sister. Her name is Karen Cecil Smith.
Orlean became a bride at 16 and gave birth to 24 children and buried them all by the time she was in her mid-thirties. After that she became a mid-wife. That was enough for me to run to The Book Cottage
and purchase the book. I enjoyed it and learned quite a bit. A girlfriend of mine also read it and enjoyed it. If there is an interest in this book, I will send it out.
I know everyone is busy this time of year. Maybe we should wait until after New Year's unless someone is ready now. Just email me and I will send it out.
The same rules apply for this book.

Send it on to me.... I am way down the list on the other book so I will try to hurry with this one. I can't imagine burying that many children but then again I cant imagine even having that many children. I am sure it will be good read....I love OLD books. I was at the thrift store a few weeks ago and picked up several to enjoy. Haven't started any yet so let me know it you are really going to send the Midwife book.

Will get the book off to you by Monday. I have a few packages to get mailed and hope to have everything finished to mail on to Farm Girl Sisters by then.
Heather you will be put on the list for after Christmas. Do you have time before New Year's if Daizy is finished by then?
We lost 2 to miscarriages and I can't even begin to imagine losing 24 babies. She was one special lady.

I received the Orlean Puckett book and hope to start it tonight. I lost Margos address so I haven't sent her the Lantern book yet but will this week. I need more firewood so I can sit beside the fire and read. Hugs and prayers to all.....Daizy

So glad you liked the book Lantern in Her Hand. Hope you like Orlean Puckett. It's a great time to read. It sure is cold here and there is an Artic Blast coming. It's going to be a wind chill of 30 to 40 below on Monday morning. I'm staying in!!!
