I bought post cards to send out before my surgery. I still have them. Unfortunately my mind has been pre-occupied. As some of you have seen in a previous post I made on this page, I have a daughter who is bi-polar and has a drinking problem (she's no longer on the pain meds). Anyway, we have stepped in and taken three of the children and working on the fourth. I actually get her a few days a week. We also have a grandchild living with us but he'll be leaving this weekend. Its been hectic, frustrating, disheartening and painful BUT my God is a GOOD God and he's working it out. I started school in August but now I have to get one grand on the school bus and the other has to be dropped off and picked up. Dinner, playtime, baths, homework, diapers to change...you get the picture. Anyway, thats my life and it is what it is Please keep us in prayer!

Tracy,
Sometimes I question whether the problems ever end.
Hang in there and of course, you are in my prayers.

Thanks Jen! God is definitely molding me. I'm finding that it is making me more understanding and less judgmental and with each new escalation of drama I can find my quiet space quicker and quicker. I thank the Lord for the small blessings while he's getting me ready for the bigger blessings. Our daughter will be healed. She has to hit that bottom and I'm just praying hitting it won't be prolonged! Is it wrong to want her to hit it now and hit it hard so she can receive her healing?

Tracy, you are an amazing lady!! How wonderful that you were / are able to take care of the children. It is calling for sure. Praying for you, your family, may they feel the love, strength and healing they will need to come through this. No, I do not think it is wrong to pray for the bottom to rush up to meet them, as that is what it often takes for them to have a lasting change. Praying it will be a short lived drop, there is no where to go but up when you have hit the true bottom.

Thanks Ladies. These past few weeks have been challenging and this past weekend has been painful. Times like this I am truly glad I have my grandbabies to keep me focused. My beloved son (our youngest) flew out to Cali yesterday. My heart is broken. I woke up this morning and was kind of disoriented because he wasn't on the sofa or in his room. The grands had spent the night at their parents house and it was just too quiet.
