Hello! I am such a newbie to everything! Born and raised in California, I now find myself in Washington! Love the rain, but have no idea how to start any kind of garden. I've been reading the magazines for over a year (finally took out a subscription!) Settling in nicely and now it's time to focus on cultivating the farmgirl I know is somewhere in here!! |

Welcome Ally! I think you will find lots of help and advice for gardening in Washington. I have been to Seattle and the surrounding area and just loved it. My son had to travel their this whole summer with his company and really enjoyed it too.
Keep reading the magazines and talk to local nurseries for advice on when and what to plant at your home. Good luck with it!

Welcome Ally!!!! I know you will get a lot of advice for gardening in Washington. There are a lot of farmgirls from that state. Looking forward to getting to know you. I live in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Our growing season is very short here.

Hello Ally,
I too move from California & have been living in Vancouver, WA for about 8 1/2 years. I like the rain. I have been to Kelso once to do a Spring (out door) Holiday Bazaar. Nice to almost meet you. & welcome Janice |
