I made some amazing Cinnamon Rolls this morning :) It was a copycat recipe for Cinnabon on Food.com. I just replaced the margarine with butter :)

Oh man, I wish I had been there when you took them out of the oven! There is nothing better than homemade cinnamon rolls on a weekend morning! I just found a recipe for White chocolate Pumpkin Pie Bark that looks easy and delicious. I may try and make some soon. If it works, I will post here for others to try.

Yum!

My kitchen smells heavenly right now. I just pulled a loaf of homemade bread out of the oven. I made some of Annika's pumpkin butter yesterday to go with it!! Can't wait to dig in!!! Thanks for the great recipe Annika - it's delicious!! I'm going to try it in my oatmeal next time I make some too.

Heather, I bet your fresh hot bread and Annika's Pumpkin Butter was just about perfect in every way! Using it in oatmeal is a great idea as well. Post a photo if you can!

Someone mentioned a recipe for pumpkin butter. I'm interested. I have several recipes but I love to explore more. Dying to make some biscuits and smother them with pumpkin butter.

I'll have to post a picture when I make the oatmeal. The bread went to my in-laws (today's my father in laws birthday) and I didn't think to get a picture before I left. He did let me know how great it was though!

Sylvia, the recipe is on page 2 of this thread. You have to try it - it's wonderful!!!

So I couldn't wait for the oatmeal. I stole a piece of the bread I made for my father in law and had some toast and pumpkin butter for breakfast. It was delicious.

It does look good!

I have Pumpkin Bread in the oven right now as I type :) I finally found a recipe that I absolutely love, not too flat tasting if you know what I mean. I added some raisins for my honey and sprinkled some brown sugar and cinnamon on top before baking. My reward after spending so much time processing pumpkins all day yesterday and not even touching the halfway mark!

Pumpkin risotto has become a fall tradition in my house. I start with Giada de Laurentis' recipe and give it a few tweaks to accommodate our allergies (chicken broth becomes veggie broth, no bacon, white wine becomes white grape juice, and cheese is optional at the table).

Of course, pumpkin pie and apple turnovers are essential!

I'm going to be copying every recipe in this thread, I think....

A hook, a book, and a good cup of coffee....
