I love paperweights - my Grandmother had many from Germany and as a little girl I would stand and stare at them when the sun would hit them. I was given her full collection when she passed and I have them displayed all through my house as well as one's I have collected on my own.

Hi Marsha,
MY favorite collection is moose things, but I also have a a collection of owls and pigs of all sorts. I also collect post cards from all over and State refrigerator magnets.
Anyway I enjoy doing it and there is always something new out there but I would say my favorite one to get as a gift would be the moose. They are so neat.
hugs

I collect pigs, doilies, stationary, and witches. I love getting all of them as gifts. It shows that other people are interested in me and really think about what I like. Pigs make me happy and are my little dream of a farm I'd love to have. Doilies are my pretty frilly things in a household where little boys are destructo until they are older. Stationary keeps my friends in touch and witches just make me happy. :)

Oh gosh what a topic! I have so many things I have collected. I do tea cups and teapots, thimbles from different states, old books,(love to read them and also old childrens books, aprons, Precious Moments figurines and anything cherries for my kitchen. I also collect blue and white dishes from Holland if I can get them. I acquired a thimble from Dusseldorf, Germany when a friend went there for a business trip and it fits in with my thimbles and my blue and whites.

Gosh Marsha, I have collected so many things over the years-I have over 300 PEZ dispensers that I started collecting because they are small and the collection would fit in a box. At one point I had 5 china cabinets full of collected dishes. Now, I mostly collect postcards, seashells, buttons, paper emperata and plates from states where I have been. I have also been collecting Fiestaware dishes since 1973 and still love all the colors. These are my "every day" dishes now. I love getting any of these as gifts. Joey

I collect anything and everything to do with owls, I also collect salt and pepper shakers (most of mine I inherited from my great grandmother's collection, but I have modern ones as well) and snowflakes. I have more recently gotten interested in collecting vintage teddy bears also. I would be thrilled to receive any of these items as a gift!
