This week we accepted a donation of food to our food pantry at work from some very kind local church members. Unfortunately, while sorting through the donation we discovered that many of the items were past their expiration dates and had to be thrown out. It was heartbreaking since I know these nice people were giving out of the kindness of their heart. For those who may not be aware, most food banks cannot accept expired food items. So checks those cans and boxes before you donate! Thanks ladies!
