Hi ladies,

Sorry I haven't had a chance to check in until this evening. You might be interested in looking here: http://www.localharvest.org/ for CSA information. We've owned shares for a number of years and really enjoy the food and the community!

And yes, this weather has been absolutely wonderful :-) what a lovely holiday weekend it was. It looks like our luck is about to change this coming weekend however...

Hi Bonnie! I am a newbie on here as well & I love moose too. I also grew up in NY... just outside of Buffalo. Lived in Cheektowaga, Glenview, & moved here to TX from Amherst. We have been here for 11 years now. A lot of my family & in-laws still live there. I do miss it tremendously! Especially at this time of year & in the fall for apple picking. We try to visit when we can. We have thought of moving back home to start our farm life there. We are also thinking of doing that in Colorado. My sister lives there. She's a farmgirl too---lilpunkin. Whichever the Lord leads us to, I will be happy. I will just enjoy having family nearby.

Hi Kelly,
so nice to meet you! I am about an hour from the area you grew up in. It is beautiful around here. Just a few weeks ago I went to see a play in Lancaster, NY. They turn their village into a lovely little Christmas town. I have met your sister quite a bit here on the forums too! So glad to know both of you! Keep me updated on your farm search!
Hugs,
Bonnie

Welcome Kelly & Carol,
So nice to hear from both of you. I live in South Wales and work in Buffalo. There's no place like WNY. It's so beautiful! A little piece of heaven on earth. Every season is special and has its' own pleasures. We sure are lucky.

Beemoosie - I am going to have to tell my dad that one (at 80 years old I dont think he cant get his tractor in the back without taking the cap off ) but this is the first year he didnt cover with a blanket in the garage (his john deer may get cold) and its the one thing I know my nephew with fight for when dad passes on - they joke about how Michael will get the John Deere when he dies.....
