Hi! My name is Melody Joy. When I was sixteen, my family sold our farm, and we moved to the city. I promised myself I'd get back to the country some day. Now that our two sons are grown, my husband and I embraced that dream together: We recently bought a small country property, which we've named Lake House Farm.

It's exciting to discover a whole community of like-minded farmgirls out there! Looking forward to getting to know some of you. You can find out what I'm up to on my blog, called Farm Girl Inspirations at www.joyelick.com. I'd love for you to pay me a visit and if you like what you see, sign up to follow by email. And leave a comment, too. I've already met a few of you when I did my first giveaway.

Farmgirl hugs!

Hello Joy,
Welcome to MJF. This is a most interesting place to be. Lots going on between us Farmgals. I live on a small ranch in Texas. I have been a country girl all my life. But I love the city for shopping and dining. I guess I have the best of both worlds.
Look at all the sites on this forum. You will find just the spot for you.
