Sending a prayer request for me. I lost my father, who was also my best friend, two months ago and it has been pretty hard for me. But to add to this, on Friday it is the one year anniversary of my boss' senseless murder) which we all at work witnessed and the one year anniversary of my canine companion's death two days later. A pretty rough weekend all around coming up. God gives me strength but sometimes it seems to weight heavily on me. I appreciate your prayers.

I also just lost the 1st man in my life, my dad on June 1st, and have had several losses in June the last 7 yrs, so I pretty much know how you feel, I will certainly add you to my prayers

Maria,
I am so sorry for all of your losses. I am praying for the Lord to grant you comfort and peace in your heart and strength for each day. If I was in Kansas, I would give you a huge hug! A couple of favorite scripture verses of mine are Isaiah 26:3-4
I will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on Me and trusts in Me
Trust in Jehovah forever, for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength.
He gives us everlasting strength and He is always faithful to bring us comfort. I am praying Maria that you will draw close to Him and that He will bring you comfort.
Tina, I just saw your reply. I am praying for you too!

I am keeping you so close to my heart and in my daily prayers. The loss is so great...we have to keep the faith and know that God has His arms around you holding you tight. The farmgirls are here for you- this I know first hand...please lean on us WHENEVER you need and ever when you don't think you need us- we are here to support you!!

Maria....prayers are going to heaven for you. I lost my mom 2 1/2 years ago and I still miss her every day. Shore yourself up with God's love and you will be okay. Just think....he is in the light of the Lord as we speak. There is nothing happier that that!

Ladies thank you for your prayers. It has been a great source of comfort to get even closer to God and not question the why? but focus on the fact that my father was a good and loving father. I talk to him every morning which is odd but comforting also.
