Can you transplant yellow onions? I would like to start some from seed in the green house and then transplant outside. Is this doable?

I do start all my onions from seed and transplant every year and they do great. I seed in a really good size pot, then transplant up from there, sometimes two or three times before they get to the garden. It's easy you should not have any trouble.
