Go to Localharvest.org and type in zip code or town. One can find organic farms and also local farmer's markets. I found an organic farm 35 min from me. So happy! Support your local farmer.

STYX the Band rocks!

Food for thought, no farm no food.

Local Harvest is a good site--it's only as good as the info that people give it, though--we found a CSA about 7 miles from us that had been there all along, but they never provided info to Local Harvest, so we just thought there was no one near us!!!

Thanks for the site! I know there are some around here. Finding them is not so easy.

I just checked this out and was I surprised to find an organic farm right near our place. It is 3.1 miles away. Unbelievable. Thanks much!

Tara,

Thanks for the info. I didn't know anything about this website before you posted. It has been very helpful.

Hugs!

I did that a few weeks ago and found an organic farm in a town just north of us. I bought a share of their crops and they said they will be selling throughout the season organic beef, butter, and homemade cheese. I can't wait for my first delivery, probably in mid-June.
