In order to drink this tea for medicinal reasons, do I need to drink it hot? Or can I brew it, steep it, and cool it for iced tea (to get the same benefits)?

Temp generally is just a preference and with some herbs it does make it taste different, there are some teas I can't stand to drink cold because they get nasty tasting. Try it both ways and see how you like it. I believe that there may be some instances where you'd be better drinking a hot tea vs a cold tea but that would depend on your condition and the approach you are taking to treat it.
