What is a sampler? This is for the Beginner Level for 3. Embroidery.

Samplers started out as a test of needle work skills of young girls, cross stitch, embroidery alphabet, figures flowers, borders ... An "example" of their skills all stitch on cloth ... Their name and date was stitched in as well.
And as for the second part of your question I'm not quite sure what you are asking ...
