| This may sound nuts, but I read a post somewhere (but, of course, can't remember where) about a chicken obstacle course. I'm a volunteer for our County Fair and help to organize entertainment, and thought that a chicken event sounded great; our 4-Hers would love it; and I'd like to get more details. Does anyone have any information on something like this? |

do it as maze, with food as a lure, they used to have these sort of things at Knott's Berry Farm, and its just repation(sp?), and I would use bantys, as so many children and adults alike love minnys...

laura, my 2 youngest boys did a rat maze that had doors they had to open and close for a bio project in H.S. one year, got 1st prize, then they set it up for the fair one year just for fun for the kids to see, it was a blast...

Our neighbor and her daughter did a rabbit obstacle course for the county fair, I'll bet it would work a lot the same way. The rabbits were coaxed along a course that had tipping teeter totters, went though assorted objects. It was great! I know the idea has been used in other counties in MN. Good luck with the chickens. If you get video of it in action I'm sure this would be a great place to share it.
