Just wanted to send out special prayers for those affected by the tragedy in Boston this afternoon.
My heart breaks for this wonderful city and its beautiful people.
Hugs,

I just heard about it. What is going on? I am sending out thoughts and prayers for the people of Boston. I don't understand this.

Three bombs went off today - two at the finish line area at the Boston Marathon, one at JFK Library. 2 Killed, at least 50 injuries. Very bad. They also found an additional bomb and set it off safely, and are examining all the bags and packages people left behind when leaving the scene to ensure public safety. They are unsure if this will continue through the night, but they are urging people to stay home or go back to their hotels. It's absolutely heart-sickening. Heart-sickening.

They said tonight that the JFK Library incident was NOT a bomb, but a fire. No one was hurt there. Thank God.

I am praying for the innocent ones. I am angry that this has happened again. Thanks for the news, Laurie.
Hugs to all.

Praying for those in Boston....and for greater love in the world. I think that the way we support and care for one another here in the Farmgirl Forum is an example of the answer to so many of the world's ills...less hate, more love.

Tis a sad sad day in the United States, I am praying for those people who lost family in the bombings, and I hope they find out who was responsible soon. Who ever was waiting for something big to be noticed I hope they don't put it in the paper much so it will be low keyed and the bombers won't be able to get their name up in lights so to speak.
So sad,

I spent so much time in this very area as a teen when dancing at the summer program of the Boston Ballet. we lived on Newbury Street, just a street from Boylston, where the bombing happened. Like another poster said, it is shocking how we treat one another. My only hope is that love wins. We continue to give light, live in light. It won't change everything, just our little piece of this dirt and maybe, just maybe it will spread as far as the eye can see. I'm gonna do my best to give each person my best, and live my best each day. These reminders of how precious, how fleeting life truly is come too often, now. The people of Boston are in my prayers and so are we as we trudge along in this daily world of trial and beauty, too. Love wins!

I heard they found an arsenal around where he was, I am glad they got him.
Now for the healing of the people who were hurt and just there when it happened.
Praying for them all.

It was so moving to me to see all of the people out in the streets joyous and victorious Friday night! A true moment in history. I am so happy that they caught these terrorists within days of their destruction.
God Bless America.
Amen!
