That is a very informative book. Lots of great ways to build. I see it is very old. They knew how to build things back then, didn't they? Thanks for sharing.

It looks like it used to be used for Boy Scouts. Daniel Beard was one of the men who helped form the organization we now call Boy Scouts of America, and he was a highly experienced woodsman. Also, many of the illustrations show scouts in early 20th century uniforms. I LOVE how it is broken up into projects that are appropriate for younger kids (so Cub Scouts) and older kids (Boy Scouts). It really is quite a treasure, and to have access to it for FREE!
