Hi! I just found this place, was hoping to be able to talk to some good people and get some help with my garden... Kids did lots of dirt sledding the last few months, so I'm clear of grass and ready to roll! Unfortunately, I tend to kill plants very easily, regardless of what type.. But I'm trying again this year, if we ever stop having snow in the forecast!

Waiting for my old pressure canner to finish up, so just posting quick to say hi and introduce myself! Hope y'all have a great day!

I'm excited to be here! I've got issues with family members thinking I'm crazy for wanting to repurpose household items, can food, grow my own food, etc. and I'm getting rather annoyed with it. Why wouldn't I want to use my old stuff? It's crazy! Like my 5 year olds pants.. They're too short, so I cut them off, hem them, and BAM! New shorts for zero dollars. But instead of thinking smart, my family thinks I'm cheap! Ugh. I need good women who are on the same page as me. Really hoping y'all are on that page!

Off to crochet this blanket.. Camo of course.. 2 boys, lol

Welcome Virginia. I get the same remarks about repurposing and being frugal. I love what I do to save money and the environment, if only everyone would, we would be in a better world for it. You will love it here and find lots of useful ideas. Looking forward to seeing more posts from you.

Virginia welcome to the farm. I am in Md. so just a state from you. You'll have a great time here. Lots of swaps to do, and people to meet. Jump on in.
