Just received an email from Dave at the Food Democracy. They're asking people to call their congressman within the next 24 hours and tell him/her to support Tester amendment #74, which in essence is to stop Monsanto from planting GMO crops. GMO crops are a threat to non-GMO/natural/organic crops. GMOs can be spread to non-GMO plants by pollination and wind drift. I called my congressman and told him that I don't want GMOs. If we get the word out, maybe someone will start listening and stand up to the big guys.
