This morning while I was doing the morning feed and water I heard Flash, my yearly roo, giving a distress call, I saw LeaLou head in that direction and went to check on him. Our surviving guinea had him penned up against the henhouse and a bucketand was pulling his tail feathers out. LeaLou chased the guinea off and came back as I was picking Flash up, no blood, just lots of dirt and some feathers fell to the ground. That guinea has been testy since the other two were killed a varmit. I will be going to the Animal Trade Days in May to hopefully get 2 or 3 more guineas to keep this one company. Maybe Flash will learn to get away by then.

| Kathryn, do you know the dates for trade days. I have looked on line at the fairgrounds, but no dates on there. It use to be the first sunday, but they say its not anymore, its according to open dates. Do you now the dates? Thanks, I want to get some quineas also. My female duck needs a mate.
