My young cultivators are always so bummed out when I join a swap and they can't do it also. I would like to open a Planting Season themed swap. I'm thinking seeds, garden gloves for small hands, a planting journal anything that can fit in a small prepaid box from the post office. Sign up deadline is March 22nd and mail out will be withing the next week and a half. Any questions please just send me a note.

Erin, what a wonderful idea you have. I am just getting home from work, but before my grandaughter goes to school in the morning I will ask her if she would like to do it. How many young cultivators do you have? My friend Wildflower17 was so excited to tell me about this, and knows I have a grandaughter staying with me.

That is a great idea, I won't join because of not having any little ones around but I think it is a grand idea. Have fun

Erin,

I think this is such a wonderful idea! If I had a young one...we would definitely be signing up...I have a 15 year old son...who is quite focused on electronics...I hope many farmgirls sign up for this swap! It is a dandy idea! Tiana...so glad to see you signed your young one up too:):):)

Hugs and Blessings,

Judy

6 is just fine. When I send out the names I will make sure that everyone knows the age and gender of the people that they are swapping with.

OK - I have two kids, one girl and one boy. The girl is actually 7 next Sunday, and my son will be 5 in two weeks. If that works - I'll sign both up!

What a great idea! I love the idea of getting the kids into this, too! My boys are very interested: Xavier - 10, Ian - 8, and Drake - 5 (6 April 28) We won't be able to do anything for sending things out until after April 1, though... I hope that's okay. On a tight budget with bee hives coming this month! ;o)

It is exciting, my grandkids have spent their own money and picked out their own stuff. It's worth it just for their excitement.

I'm just checking in to make sure that everyone's swaps are going well. I'm really hoping that the swaps we sent out have gotten to their destinations. Can't wait to hear how it's going for everyone and if anyone has ideas for future swaps for the kids I would love to hear it.

Erin, Drake loved his package from Jack! He likes peas, too, so I think he'll love being able to grow his own in our garden this year. Jack's package is on its way. I hope he likes it!

Carissa, Xavier really loved his package from Michael! What an awesome collection of really cool stuff! I've never planted bulbs before, so I'm not sure if we should plant them now or wait until fall. Any suggestions?? :o) Also, we were just talking about how we need some aloe in the kitchen!
