As I continue to grow the lavender business, I am looking for further ideas of products. I am trying to keep outside the box and not do the same products as others(soap). One example - lavender hot chocolate.

What things would you like?

The website has most of the product line listed.

Thanks,
Laurie

you read my mind, I was thinking chocolate!

Also because you have your B&B I would do a syrup and jam line (lavender) you could have it available for breakfast for your customers, and then sell it to take home.

Great idea, Heather. I'd love to take a prodect home from a B&B where I stayed.
I'm thinking lavender honey or lavender sugar to mix in tea or cookies. Also, someone gave me a lavender bud-several stalks of lavender where the stalks were folded up to cover the flowers inside hanging it with a purple ribbon. It hang in my linen closet...not your normal bag of lavender. I love the smell of lavender. Joey

Lavender sugar is pretty easy to whip up and pretty to boot. Add a recipe or two...

Jams are a good idea and I have a few recipes for it.

Keep the ideas coming!!!!

I did a barter with Laurentany and she sent me a mix for White Chocolate Lavender Scones, very good! I agree with the syrup and jams. Maybe Peach Lavender Preserves. I second the butter cookies too. Tea Blends.

Boy, I agree with the suggestions of adding to cookies and scones, jams, jelly, syrups and tea blends.
I think there is TONS of potential!
You go girl!

I love taking home the yummy luxuries I have on vacation..so I think it would really appeal to customers being able to take home what ever little lavender items you serve them for breakfast.

Making scone packages one of the vendors here does, but is a good idea. What do you think about lavender rice bags for bed warmers?

Awesome! I would sell them in a gift shop in your B&B too so they could use them while they are staying with you.

I love all things lavender. My favorite to make is champagne lavender jelly. Decorated beautiffully. Lavender shortbread cookies. I make a nice soy lotion candle in lavender. All natural.

In the winter I make a hand salve for the season. I always add lavender essential oil. Its amazing stuff. I made some for the girls I worked with for christmas and they loved it. {except one but for her if it doesn't have a brand name it isn't going to work. Silly girl} You could add the buds. i think they would just crumble away as you emulsify. That would just enhance the smell.
