Ladies...... Sugar Plum, sorry our Jersey, delivered with just a little help a beautiful big bull calf! Number 2!!!!!! Sugar Plum is a heifer so NOT bad for the size of calf!
He's having a wee bit of trouble but he's up & active so that's half the battle. Just more work to get him full.
The wind is down so the temps are warmer today. What a blessing!!! Everybody is tuck in under heat lamps.

The "barn" sounds are so peaceful! Moms softly mooing to their babies! It's one the best sound in the world!

Number 3 & 4 could be any time! Love to have a quiet day, 2 hours of sleep is just too little any more for this grey hair FG, but then again it's like pulling off a band aide.....do it fast!
Pics are coming
Hugs Judy
PS.....6 piglets are arriving any time to use up some of the milk!

Oh this post just brought me a smile. I would love cows but not enough land now. Congratulations on your little blessings.

I love little Jersey calves. So sweet. And pigs too? I am still thinking about getting a few. Have fun with those cuties.

Doing a HAPPY DANCE this morning
Worked with our boy throughout the night, every half hour, & he's so much better today!
He's not letting Mom too far out of sight! LOL She quieted down too.
Each day he'll get stronger....crossing my fingers

I love it when we have new calves here. Their big beautiful eye lids of fluttering. Have fun with the new babies.
