Because of high calcium and PTH levels I had 3 hyper-parathyroids removed. My neck was sore for a couple of days. But, have had so much worse. I have to take extra calcium because removing the parathyroids causes an immediate depletion of calcium. Anyone else had this done? What was the out come? I also have Lyme Disease and wonder how all this is going to play into the whole mix of things. Any insight would be appreciated.
