Here is a picture of my first peach blossom of the season. I think they are so pretty when they are in bloom.

My word that is one big blossom! It is beautiful and has brightened up my dreary day here in the Chicago area. Thanks for sharing it with us.

Dorinda,
It is beautiful!!! I have a peach tree too but my neighbor "helped" me prune it and all I have now are stumpy branches. I hung bird houses and feeders on it.
How do you insert pictures?
I am having trouble doing it.
Thank you,
Terri

Oh! How exciting! Such a beautiful sight, Dorinda! We've got more ice and snow coming today - it's such a wonderful thing to see a sign of spring! :) Enjoy! Hugs - Nini

Terri,
In the welcome wagon forum you will find detailed instructions for posting pictures ... I think it's about the 4th topic down. My hubby showed me how to do the pics and it seemed very easy as long as he was right here telling me what to do but I'm technology challenged!

I think what you have is called a Snowdrop. Here's a link, see what you think:

Stephanie,
I believe you are totally right. It looks like it came up from a bulb that the former owner of my house planted. There are bulbs all over my front and back yards. Can't wait to see what comes up next! I will keep you posted.
I love my little Snowdrops!
Thanks again,
Terri

Terri, I use tinypic.com. I take a picture of it with my phone. Then send it to my e-mail. Then down load it from my e-mail. Then I pull up my downloads and click on copy. Then I Goggle tinypic .com and download to there. It is free. Then at tinypic.com I click on IMG. then hit copy. Then I go to Maryjane farm girls and go to the forum that I want the picture on and click on paste. And then there it is. My kids showed me that. Thank you girls for all the replys. Y'all are the greatest.

Our neighbor has a small orchard with peach and pear trees.. they both have bloomed a couple of times this winter (Im assuming because of the screwy weather we have had here in Florida). My little girl and I look forward to seeing them in the spring because we know that the yummy sweet peaches are soon to follow! Congratulations on your beautiful blossom :-)
