Well, I had a battle with my car yesterday when the battery died. But I lived to tell about it and wrote about it at the blog. Thought you might get a giggle. All of us Farmgirls are equipped for the fight!! And don't forget to enter the giveaway if you hop over there!!

Oh, and there is a recipe included too.

Well, Mary Beth, you did make me giggle. Your tale was entertaining, but I'm sure you were not amused with all of the issues and struggles with your battery. That stuff can just make me crazy.
But thanks for sharing your tale with some humor!

CJ, it's ok. I figure life's too short to let a dead battery make me nuts. I was actually laughing at myself as the ordeal got more and more complicated. My first thought was, "Blog post!!!" I really did look ridiculous and out of place in my apron. Thanks for reading my story!! :-)

Mary Beth,
That tale is too funny! I love the way you tell it. I can just see you donning apron and grunting to lift battery and the happy dance that ensued. I also agree that Farmgirls could and should rule the world! Thank you for my giggle of the day.

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Wonderful story, I bet you did the teenager eye roll thing as Mr. Fix-It had his liiile "why did you do that rant" and yes, if women ran the country it would not be in debt, the budget would stay balanced and there would be plenty of well-paying jobs for everyone. Thanks for sharing

Love it, Mary Beth! I was giggling and knowingly nodding in commiseration. Like Netty said, I've been there, too. Absolutely loved the comment about women and chocolate - SO true! I just love reading your blog entries - you always make me smile; always make my day! Thanks for the giggles! Hugs - Nini
